Keivan Kaboutari graduated B.Sc. in February 2003 from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Islamic Azad University, West Azarbaijan, Urmia Branch, in the Telecommunication Engineering field of education. He received his M.Sc. at the METU in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering-Biomedical program in February 2017. During the M.Sc. program, he worked as a research assistant in the Lorentz Force Electrical Impedance Tomography (LFEIT) project. This project was developed in the framework of TUBITAK and COST Action BM1309: European network for innovative uses of EMFs in biomedical applications (EMF-MED). He worked in companies and universities, mainly as a programmer, designer of digital circuits with microcontrollers and microprocessors, IT center manager, and lecturer. He is a Ph.D. candidate from Aveiro University, Aveiro, Portugal. As a researcher, he is a member of AI-Beam, POWER - 5G RU Indoor Antenna Design projects, and CMU Portugal Affiliated Ph.D. Programs. His current research interests include beamforming using Metasurfaces, antenna design, optimization, and medical imaging.
