Henrique Chaves won URSI’s Young Scientist Award 2024

Henrique Chaves, our researcher, has been honored with the Young Scientist Award at the 4th URSI – Atlantic Radio Science Conference. His award-winning work, titled “Development of Adaptable Feedback Channel for Wireless Power Systems,” was presented at the conference held in Gran Canaria, Spain, from May 19 to 24.

Bei-Sat microsatellite prototype for atmospheric monitoring wins European CanSat Competition 2023

Bei-Sat, a microsatellite prototype for atmospheric monitoring, won first place in the European CanSat Competition. This is a project supported and co-financed by the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Space Azores and PT Space.

A group of PhD students from the University of Aveiro and researchers at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, the team of the project SCOUTE (Uniform Connection and Optimization System for Energy Transfer) won the award "Inovação nas Forças Armadas 2023”.
