The Fifth IEE International Conference on 3G Mobile Communication Technologies (3G 2004) was held in Savoy Place, London, UK from 18-20 October 2004. The paper entitled ''Deployment Scenarios and Applications Characterisation for Enhanced UMTS Simulation'', J. Ferreira and F.J.Velez (http://conferences.iee.org/3G2004/), was presented by Prof. Fernando Velez and was awarded with the Best Paper Prize.
