Fernando Pereira, IEEE fellow, our researcher and Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, has been honored with the prestigious IEEE SPS Leo L. Beranek Meritorious Service Award “for exemplary service to and leadership in the Signal Processing Society.” It will be formally presented during the Award Ceremony at the IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP), scheduled to take place from April 14 to 19, 2024, in the city of Seoul, Korea.

ICASSP is the world’s largest and most comprehensive technical conference focused on signal processing and its applications. It offers a comprehensive technical program presenting all the latest developments in research and technology in the industry that attracts thousands of professionals annually.
