CMU Portugal program supports Portuguese research teams in projects related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with more than 350 thousand euros.

There will be six projects and eight Portuguese institutions supported, including Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), in areas such as digital technologies for health, Internet intervention to detect, treat and monitor anxiety and depression in breast cancer survivors, stimulators of Millimeter size, Neural probes and distributed networks and automatic evaluation of visualizations.

IT participates in the PHEASANT project, led by Maria Rute André, from CICECO at the University of Aveiro, which aims to study integrated photonic neuronal probes for neuromorphic computation.
