PROJECT: Techniques for Robust Carrier Phase Tracking (under High Dynamics/Strong Fading/Scintillation Conditions)
ACRONYM: ROCAT
MAIN OBJECTIVE: This project aims at providing solutions for robust and accurate tracking of the carrier phase in GNSS receivers. The project was proposed by the European Space Agency (EAS) and the consortium is led by GMV (Spain/Portugal). It includes the scientific collaborations of University Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT). The Portuguese contribution is focused on the study, implementation, and performance analysis of vector tracking techniques (VDLL/VFLL/VPLL).
