Project: Diamond-based surface acoustic wave devices: a reverse fabrication design

Acronym: JISIS
Main Objective:
The goal of this project was to fabricate diamond-coated SAW devices.
For this purpose, two intermediate tasks were carried out:
- Diamond films were deposited onto piezoelectric materials (langasite and lithium niobate) and onto commercial SAW devices;
- A proper read-out unit was fabricated; this unit operates at 433 MHz.
