Project: Realising Quantum METAmaterials with Quantum Dot Arrays

Acronym: QMETA
Main Objective:
The overall objective of this ERP is to set the grounds for realising scalable quantum metasurfaces in a
solid state platform. For that purpose we will concentrate our efforts in delivering a theoretical design and
experimental realisation of a novel solid state quantum metasurface based on integrated arrays of quantum
dots, demonstrating (i) that large area quantum metasurfaces can be achieved with this solid state
approach, and (ii) how quantum collective effects can be harnessed in this platform.
