Abstract
In this work, it is presented the influence of a silica nanofilm onto a tilted fiber Bragg grating (TFBG) for anion recognition. A TFBG was tested before and after silica coating regarding different chloride concentrations. The results show that this technique improves the TFBG’s sensitivity towards chloride detection.
