Abstract
Here, we propose a novel mechanism to control the sign of the optical pressure on a material
body. It is shown that the interference between a chiral light beam and its reflection on a mirror may
allow pulling a chiral body with no optical traps towards the light source. Crucially, it is proven that this
effect is independent of the specific location the body with the respect to the mirror and that the control of
the incoming wave helicity may allow one to harness the sign of the optical force.
