Abstract
We illustrate an original approach building on a semiclassical model of antenna complexes, where the quantum excitation is coupled to an explicit nonlinear coarse-grained network model of the protein matrix. We illustrate this approach with reference to diff erent systems and simulation protocols, including measures of transfer efficiency, exciton mobility and the associated decoherence mechanisms. Moreover, we describe an original setting where steady exciton transfer is studied from the point of view of non-equilibrium statistical physics.
