Abstract
The goal of this article is to describe the development
of a full system to control an Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) using
a reliable air-to-ground wireless communication supported by
Wi-Fi 3G/4G networks, allowing a full real time control on nonline-
of-sight conditions. To achieve the main goal three
applications were developed, one made for the operator which is
a mobile application for a Tablet to control the UAV, another one
for the UAV to be the brain of the aircraft and finally a
communication system that includes a server and the
communication protocol.
