Abstract
A new topology for dynamic power storage system with supercapacitors is presented. Supercapacitors have become popular because its usefulness has increased in many areas, such as electrical vehicles and energy storage systems. Its high power density allows higher charge and discharge rates. In this work the proposed topology presents great flexibility, allowing for series, parallel and hybrid connections with only three switches per cell. The topology was simulated in Matlab/simulink and hardware has been developed to test communications and the topology circuitry.
