Abstract
This paper discusses the minimum requirements to develop a wireless power transmission system placed into a high altitude platform capable of feeding the sensor nodes of a wireless sensor network system in a precision agriculture application. The
state of art of wireless power ransmission is used to establish the
minimum power density required to feed a generic sensor node. Based on those requirements the high altitude platform antenna gain, minimum power and coverage radius are calculated.
