Abstract
Aiming to develop radiative wireless power
transfer by implementing quasioptics, the question of how
gaussian beams are generated must be tackled. Following a
theoretical paper on the literature about the generation of
gaussian beams by phased arrays, here we develop simulations
that aim to validate and study the results from that paper. In
order to do that, a circular microstrip patch antenna was designed
and and used to create different phased-arrays. The phase of
the current distribution of each element was adjusted and the
obtained radiation patterns are here discussed.
