Abstract
In this paper, the application of four algorithms
based on least square sine fitting methods for power quality
measurements is discussed. It is shown how these algorithms can
be used to extract power quality disturbances (such as transients
or waveform distortions) from the voltage signal. Also, the
application of these algorithms for estimation of the total
harmonic distortion is discussed and the results are compared
with the ones obtained according to the IEC 61000-4-7 standard.
