Abstract
This paper describes a virtual instrument
developed at the Instituto de Telecomunicações -
Measurement and Instrumentation Group, to detect defects in
conductive plates using eddy current methods. The measuring
system allows the use of different types of probes which
enable the determination of different magnetic field
components and reconstruction of distinct images of the
scanned sample under test.
