Abstract
In this talk it is shown how a coordinate-free approach to bianisotropy in metamaterials can be easily developed using Clifford (geometric) algebra. This new method, while avoiding the cumbersome algebraic calculations of tensors and dyadic analyses, is also able to provide a clear geometrical and physical insight into those problems. As an application omega-like media – a broad class of reciprocal bianisotropic materials – are analyzed.
