Abstract
In this work, we have presented a simple approach to design a multichannel sampled fiber Bragg grating (SFBG) for chromatic dispersion compensation. The design is based on groups of SFBG with phase modulation between groups. This design can be implemented with a uniform phase mask and a low resolution positioning device. We present simulation and experimental results.
