Abstract
This article summarizes the IEEE Distinguished Microwave Lecture “The Wonderful World of Nonlinearity: Modeling and Characterization of RF and Microwave Circuits”.
Conceived for the non-expert, this Lecture aims to catch the attention of an audience of either graduate students or practicing engineers, whose typical undergraduate preparation in nonlinear analysis is insufficient to deal with even the simplest of the nonlinear wireless RF subsystems. So, we will not focus on any specific current hot-topic of microwave technology, but will instead provide a glimpse of the various facets that nonlinearity plays in many microwave circuits.
