Abstract
The present document discloses a planar electromagnetic wave absorber comprising a conductive plane, a dielectric layer and a conductive metal oxide layer, wherein the conductive metal oxide layer is shaped with a polarization-independent shape. It is further disclosed an anechoic chamber comprising a plurality of the absorbers, the use of the chamber for surrounding and isolating a test product from electromagnetic fields and a method for characterization of at least an antenna with frequency of operation of 1 to 6 GHz.
