Flavio Meneses received his electronics and telecommunications engineering M.Sc. degree in 2015 from the Electronics, Telecommunication and Informatics Department, University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree. His main research topic focuses on Mobility Management for Future Network Architecture (such as, Network Slicing), targeting interoperability mechanisms between different network architectures. Other fields of his research involve Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Functions virtualization (NFV) and its applicability in heterogeneous environments. He is currently working as a researcher and developer for the Telecommunications and Networking Group at Instituto de Telecomunicacoes (Aveiro).
